Green Technology Compliance for Industry

Green Technology Compliance for Industry
About The Course
A global transition to a low-carbon and sustainable economy has pushed the nature of current employment towards considering technical and economic implications of sustainability and climate change as well as the consequences of mitigation and adaptation strategies. However, there are still huge gaps in the existing workers’ knowledge and skills to undertake the challenges. Employment in all sectors; name it agricultural, manufacturing, research, and development (R&D), administrative, and service activities has to play its role in preserving or restoring environmental quality by taking into consideration ecosystems and biodiversity protection; reduce energy, materials, and water consumption through high-efficiency strategies; de-carbonize the economy; and minimize or altogether avoid the generation of all forms of waste and pollution. This course provides fundamental knowledge and competencies in green practices for the participants to enable them to apply in their current job.
